Enterprise 2.0 – The video/audio/presentation archive for Enterprise 2.0 Conference (June 2007). Great ideas about the future of collaboration and KM (E2.0 is the new KM ;o)
Enterprise 2.0: The New, New Knowledge Management? – Amen. Tom Davenport: “If E2.0 can give KM a mid-life kicker, so much the better. If a new set of technologies can bring about a knowledge-sharing culture, more power to them.” As I have stated earlier, E2.0 is simply better tools for KM.

The Top 100 Productivity and Lifehack Blogs – College Degree.com – A great reference list to seek out Websites to increase productivity and try to achieve work-life balance. Lifehack.org may have be the most well known, but I really like the work-life balance ideas from Zen Habits.
ACM Queue – Social Bookmarking in the Enterprise: Social bookmarking tools are taking off on the Web. Do they have a place within the enterprise, too? – A comprehensive dip into the bookmarking end of the Enterprise 2.0 pool. Includes a deep field test of Dogear and concludes that there is “great potential”.
Social Software`s Culture Clash – Another great case study that reinforces my “three legged stool” model for Enterprise 2.0 where culture change is the bigger challenge than the Web 2.0 technology. Their quote: “99 percent culture, 1 percent technology”

Digg, Wikipedia, and the Myth of Web 2.0 Democracy. – "At both Digg and Wikipedia, small groups of users have outsized authority." No one ever expected it to be truly democratic, but it does give pause as to who is deciding what learning we get – probably still better than the norm.
Is User-Generated Content Out? | Newsweek Technology | Newsweek.com – "The individual user has been king on the Internet, but the pendulum seems to be swinging back toward edited information vetted by professionals." The trend continues. I still believe their is a huge "curator" role for editors to play.
Where Every Ad Knows Your Name – Bits – Technology – New York Times Blog – Loise Story of the New York Times asks an insightful question that reveals just how far we have come in "personalizing" the Web. It certainly raises privacy issues, but it also open the possibility of tailored content and delivery.

Phun – 2D Physics Sandbox (Cool – Download This!) – What a great example of discovery learning, playing to learn, and "teaching" advanced concepts on the Web (OK – on the computer). If you have a geek-in-training at home, have her (or him) download this and play – boom – instant physics course.
Scope of Learning Responsibility (The Learning Circuits Blog) – I hope to have time to respond to this one soon. I think the responsibility of corporate learning organizations is changing as quickly as the way people learn is – all due to the Web. The new responsibility may be curator.
The Social Graph: Issues and Strategies in 2008 – Dion does the crystal ball as to the impact of social networks in 2008. Loads of insight and ideas that can easily be extrapolated to learning. Although, I don't agree on fatigue – people will tire of too many profiles and demand integration.
From Push to Pull: Emerging Models for Mobilizing Resources – A lengthy but insightful whitepaper from John Hagel and John Seely Brown from way back in October 2005. It begins (?) Hagels continued discussion of the organizational transformation needed to move from push to pull.

Ecolearning — Internet Time Blog – Jay Cross’s take on Ken Thompson’s Bioteams, “a guidebook to help companies move from vestiges of the industrial age to the rocket ride of the network era. This is Management 2.0: We are all leaders.” Gotta love books that use biology as their metaphor!
Managing Enterprise 2.0 — Internet Time Blog – Jay Cross discusses how Gary Hamel has “issued a wake-up call to corporations that are floundering around with web 2.0 issues…” Touches on the important issue of moving management through change (i.e., the culture leg of the E2.0 stool).
Business reasons to shift to enterprise 2.0 learning — Internet Time Blog – This brief post from Jay Cross states “business leaders… don’t believe their current approach to training prepares their workers to succeed…” Includes a PDF that lists more than fifty areas collaboration that Web 2.0 can improve.
Web 2.0 Applications in Learning : eLearning Technology – A wonderfully exhaustive blog from Tony Karrer extending his presentation at the recent ASTD TechKnowledge conference. Includes the results of a small survey he applied at the session re: adoption of Web 2.0 technologies.
Human Resource Executive Online – Story – Tom Starner has written an insightful article highlighting how incorporating Web 2.0 into your company can attract and retaining talent (i.e., millennials) as well as the usual increase in employee collaboration and engagement.

The state of RIA moves forward: Ajax, Silverlight, and JavaFX – Another dip in the geek end of the pool, but it is a great overview of current rich Internet application (RIA) tools that will be used to create the more engaging Web sites in the future. A handy bit of learning on Web tech.
What Is WOA? It’s The Future of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) – Another article for the tech lover's from Dion Hinchcliffe. It explains the new term he created "WOA" that captures how SOA models need to open up as Web services. For the geekier in your orgs, this means more ways to access info.
Cases 2.0 / Cases 2.0 – A great sight where anyone can record Enterprise 2.0 case studies. Only a few there so far, but will give insight into how companies are leveraging collaborative platforms for learning, knowledge sharing, and improved performance.

12 Screencasting Tools For Creating Video Tutorials – Its been around for ages, but you can't argue with quick, simple, and effective. If you have to teach (or better yet EPSS) folks computer applications, screencasting is effective and cheap. This great lists includes FREE tools (for great ROI).
Visualizing Information for Advocacy: An Introduction to Information Design | Tactical Technology Collective – Presentation is everything: "This project aims to raise awareness, introduce concepts, and promote good practice in information design – a powerful tool for advocacy, outreach, research, organization and education."
Extend Your Brain With Evernote – This isn't open to the public yet, but it is another example of how Internet (Web) technology is changing the way we learn and remember. Einstein was joking when he said "I never remember anything I can lookup". Still a joke?
