Julie Kelly

President

Julie is the founder and president of Concerted Solutions, where she leads the team in providing human resources, training, learning and change management initiatives and hybrid conference management. Founded in 2003, Concerted Solutions has successfully provided solutions for commercial, association and federal government clients. She led the team in successfully receiving an 8(a) SDB certification award from the Small Business Administration in 2009. Prior to Concerted Solutions, Julie worked with the corporate team that executed the start-up of Children’s Pediatricians & Associates of the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, which they grew successfully into a multi-million dollar physician organization.  At CP&A, she was directly involved in all facets of the acquisition of physician practices, strategic practice management, change management, compliance management, competency modeling, physician and staff recruitment, compensation, benefits, development and training. She was previously human resources director for Meristar Hotels & Resorts where she provided HR leadership at two luxury hotels. She was previously the human resources director for The Madison Hotel; and human resources manager for the Westin City Center Hotel.

Julie has a bachelor’s degree in Management (1987). Having met with distinction the high standards of education, experience and demonstrated knowledge established by the Human Resource Certification Institute, she was previously awarded certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in June 2004. Julie is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Federal Asian Pacific American Council, and the National Association of Professional Asian Women. Jeff Kelly

Vice President

Jeff is a highly versatile performance improvement solutions developer. His passion and expertise lies at the nexus of business strategy, technology and individual performance. He has been developing business-driven learning and performance improvement solutions for over 20 years. Jeff has been successful in a wide range of people development activities: facilitating business strategy workshops; instructional design and delivery (both classroom and Web-based); 360-degree leadership evaluations; leadership coaching; succession planning; and change management.  An ardent technologist, Jeff solutions incorporate cutting-edge technologies to produce tools that produce results.

Curt Buermeyer, PhD

Senior Consultant

Curt’s on a mission: To help good people become extraordinary leaders. He believes that extraordinary leadership is a strategic asset for organizational effectiveness that can’t be undervalued. Curt works with senior executives in Fortune 500 companies, privately held companies, and government agencies. Some of the organizations he has worked with include Wal-mart, Yahoo!, PepsiCo, General Motors, SAIC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hospital Corporation of America, US FBI, US National Security Agency, and the US Navy. Curt is the President of Lead People, LLC.

Daniel Feldman, PhD

Senior Consultant

Daniel provides a variety of senior level coaching and consulting services including to numerous clients in business and government.  He is experience in every facet of organizational development: leadership development, process facilitation, organizational review, team development, strategic and action planning, organizational design and restructuring, process improvement, and change management.  Daniel regularly coaches senior staff and facilitates senior level meetings and retreats.  He is the author of The Handbook of Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, The Manager’s Pocket Guide to Workplace Coaching, and Critical Thinking: Strategies for Decision Making.  Daniel is the President of Leadership Performance Solutions.

Sandra Khoury, CMM

Meeting & Events Consultant

Sandra is the meeting and events consultant for Concerted Solutions. She is a certified and accomplished professional in meeting and event planning, and an adjunct professor in event management at the George Washington University. Her 25 years of professional experience include selecting venues, negotiating contracts, successfully planning and executing meetings, and meticulously managing large conferences for an international associations. She was previously assistant general manager for a luxury hotel in Washington DC, where she oversaw the food and beverage, banquet and catering sales operations. She has extensive knowledge in managing food and beverage operations, recruiting and training staff, and executing positive customer satisfaction strategies in the luxury hotel industry. These hotels include The Willard Inter-Continental, The Madison Hotel, and The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC.

Sandra has a Master of General Administration degree (1991) from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (1983). She is currently a Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, in conjunction with the Global Business Travel Association and Meeting Planner International (MPI).

Laurence Rudolph, PhD

Senior Consultant

Laurence is an experienced research professional focusing on decision support and turning data into useful information. He has over 20 years’ experience in survey design and analysis with emphasis on graphic results that present valid outcomes in a context that support fact-based decisions. His qualitative and quantitative evaluation design and implementation informs executive decision making at a comfort level that instills confidence.  He has provided analytical solutions for Network Access Solutions, Xerox Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton, and America Online. Laurence is the Vice-President of Rudolph & Associates, Inc.
